CHARLESTOWN TOWNSHIP

The Charlestown Board of Supervisors held a public meeting on Monday, 8:30pm, April 27, 1992, at the Barn of the Nature Center of Charlestown. This meeting was held for the purpose of receiving input on the issue of the Charlestown Hunt access roads.
| Present: | Irene W. Ewald, Chairman; John C. Martin, Jr., Vice Chairman; Vincent G. Kling, Sr., Member; Surender S. Kohli, PE; James E. McErlane, Esq.; Ruth W. Buckwalter, Secretary; and those on the attached list of attendees. Also, representing the Hunt were the Messrs. Bob Dwyer, David Della Porta, Buck Riley and Marc Kaplin. |
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:40 pm.
Announcements The Chairman listed the following: April 24 - appearance at court re. MCF; Executive Session held re. MCF and Charlestown Hunt, attended by Irene W. Ewald, John D. Snyder, Esq., Thomas F. Oeste, Esq., James E. McErlane, Esq., Vincent G. Kling, Sr., Surender S. Kohli, PE, and John C. Martin, Jr. (via speaker phone); April 25 & 26 - stake out of Charlestown Hunt access roads; April 26 - Mrs. Ewald presented a plaque to John D’Ginto on behalf of Townwatch and the Township at the University of Penna. Hospital.
The meeting was opened to the floor and all present had the opportunity to express opinions or ask questions.
The minutes of the meeting were recorded by a court stenographer and a transcript is on file with the Township Solicitor.
At 10:15 pm. the meeting was concluded.
