The second business meeting for October was held October 15, 2007 at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154. Mike Rodgers, Vice Chairman, Paul Hogan, Hugh Willig, Mark Thompson, Esq., Surender S. Kohli, P.E., Linda M. Csete, Township Administrator, and those on the attached list were present.
Mr. Rodgers called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
Mr. Willig moved to approve the minutes of the October 1, 2007 meeting, and Mr. Hogan seconded. Mr. Rodgers called for discussion, and there being none, called the vote. Three were in favor.
Mr. Hogan moved to approve the Accounts Payable Report for the Operating Fund for October 15, 2007, and Mr. Willig seconded. Mr. Rodgers called for discussion, and there being none, called the vote. Three were in favor.
Mr. Hogan moved to approve Resolution #687-07 and #688-07 applying for grants from Chester County to acquire easements in the Pigeon Run and Pickering Creeks greenways, and Mr. Willig seconded. Mr. Rodgers called for discussion, and there being none, called the vote. Three were in favor.
Mr. Willig moved to authorize a letter of commitment from the Township as part of the application to the County for the $1.6 M acquisition of an easement on the 61.8 acres Kling Property, and an application through the French & Pickering Creeks Trust for the $390,000 acquisition of an easement on the 20.6 acre Bernhard property. Both easements will have public access. Mr. Rodgers seconded. Mr. Rodgers called for discussion, and there being none, called the vote. Three were in favor.
The Secretary indicated she contacted Dale Frens last week per the Board’s request at the October 1st meeting for a recommendation on how to proceed with the signage for historical sites in the Township. Mr. Frens recommended a West Chester design consulting firm to act as project manager by preparing the bid package and then working with the sign fabricators on the creation and installation of the signs. The Board suggested getting a proposal from this firm and from Gregory Blue, who worked with the Township on developing its logo.
Mr. Thompson opened the hearing for the TND ordinance and the proceedings were recorded by Tom Corcoran, Court Reporter. There was no testimony this evening. The hearing was continued to November 19, 2007, 7:30 P.M. at the Great Valley Middle School, Room 154.

Mr. Thompson asked if anyone from the public wished to comment, and no one came forward.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M. The next meeting is scheduled for October 29, 6:00 P.M. in Room 154 of the Great Valley Middle School.
