The Board reviewed the budget draft prepared by the Township Manager. One change was made to the draft, to reduce Item 408.10, Engineering, from $75,000 to $50,000.
The budget will be adjusted to include that change. The revised draft will then be distributed to the Board prior to the November7, 2016 Supervisors Meeting. After review, Mrs. Csete will then be authorized to advertise and post it on the Township website.
After receiving two bids well in excess of the estimated cost for the project, and both over the $19,399 limit for obtaining proposals without going out for formal bid, Mr. Kuhn will ask Mr. Dettore to revisit the specifications in order to determine if the project can be reduced in scope.
Mrs. Csete confirmed that Mr. Rodgers would like to be registered for the County Association of Township Supervisors convention on Nov. 10th.
After some discussion on a complaint of parking On Maryhill Road by sports families during a recent weekday evening, the Board decided to maintain the current signage for the time being, since the season is close to ending for the year, and to revisit the situation in the Spring if there are additional complaints. The current signage prohibits parking at certain hours on weekends only.
The Board held an executive session following adjournment to discuss legal matters. The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 P.M. The next meeting is scheduled for November 7, 2016, 7:30 P.M. in Room 154 of the Great Valley Middle School.
