Goodman opened the meeting at 7:06 pm.
Nomination and election of officers:
Armstrong is appointed by BOS to be Chair.
Dan Walker self-nominated for Vice Chair.
Armstrong nominated Solomon for secretary position.
Richardson moved to approve both Walker and Solomon for the respective positions. Goodman seconded it- all approved. None opposed.
Organization meeting: review who is to attend which meetings by Charlestown Boards and Commissions.
Walker is our liaison with the monthly Planning Commission meetings as he is currently a member of the Planning Commission.
Goodman offered to attend monthly BoS meetings.
Goodman will also attend Parks and Recs meetings as much as possible. Armstrong will ask the Parks & Recreation Board if they will appoint a liaison to our EAC.
All 2022 meetings will be held in person unless COVID restrictions are reimposed.
We reviewed Sunshine Act:
The Committee shall adopt rules for the conduct of its own meetings and business. Said rules shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to the Sunshine Act.
