Mr. Westhafer moved to approve the May 14, 2024 meeting minutes and Mr. von Hoyer seconded. Mr. Rogers called for discussion and there being none called the vote. All were in favor.
Dan Wright presented the lot combination plan for 1 & 2 Honeysuckle Lane with 9 waiver requests.
Mr. Wright referred to his review letter dated 5/20/24 indicating he had no objection to the waiver requests.
Mr. Heleniak informed the PC the reason for the re-subdivision of the property was due to a misunderstanding during the easement appraisal process and the Allevas desiring to have 2 lots instead of the 1 larger lot. They will still be giving the Township a conservation easement, however it will be on 2 lots, so that they can still sell the second lot in the future with the easement on the property.
Mr. Westhafer moved to recommend approval of the subdivision plan and requested waivers for Drew & Marjorie Alleva and Mr. Walker seconded. Mr. Rogers called for discussion and there being none called the vote. All were in favor.
Ms. Armstrong and Ms. Soundararajan from the Environmental Advisory Committee presented the revisions to the proposed Single Use Plastics Ordinance. They included removing dry cleaning bags and produce bags from the ordinance and adding additional single use utensils and to-go containers.
There was a conversation regarding the absence of any business owners at the EAC’s meeting the day before. Mr. Rogers expressed his support for the ordinance.
Any documents referred to in the minutes are available to the public upon request at the Township office.
There being no further business, Mr. Rogers adjourned the meeting at 7:35 p.m. The next meeting will be held on July 9, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Building, 11 General Warren Blvd, Malvern, PA.
