NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Charlestown Township Zoning Hearing Board will hear on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at 11 General Warren Boulevard, Suite 1, Charlestown Township, Pennsylvania, the Appeal and Zoning Hearing Board Application of Bobby E. and AmyLouise Carpenter, owners of realty and improvements located 2093 Conestoga Road, Charlestown Township (Tax Parcel ID 35-7-11). Said property is situated in a FR, Farm Residential District Zoning District. Bobby E. Carpenter is the operator of B & D Machine & FAB, Inc., a commercial business that operates from improvements on the property. The Zoning Violation/Enforcement Notice was issued May 21, 2024, by Charlestown Township’s Engineer/Zoning officer, Daniel T. Wright, P.E., pursuant to §616.1 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and §27-2101 of the Charlestown Township Zoning Ordinance for violation of §27-402.1 of the Charlestown Township Zoning Ordinance for operation of a commercial business. Owners have appealed the Notice of Violation/Enforcement Notice and also requested a variance from §27-1614.2.C.
