In 2003, Catherine Jenkins, a long-time resident and founding member of the Civic Association passed away at the age of 96. She owned a home on 16 wooded acres on Valley Hill Road.

The Township Supervisors were in agreement that the property would be ideal for a “pocket park”, a small park that would be used primarily by nearby residents in an area that had no similar amenity.

The draft master plan is currently under review by the Planning Commission.
